This Live Baby Wooden Cradle is our deluxe design. It follows the theme of the Pennsylvania Dutch Overhead Canopy Styling. It is mostly used as an actual baby cradle for newborns. We have had requests for this design because it is something that parents reflect on early child rearing. Whereas back in 'them thar days', when families were very close and having the child close to them was a way of exhibiting great love and affection, that carried over into later years when growing up. Plus, It really looks cool setting either in a master bedroom or out in a family room or den.
The Wooden Live Baby Cradle is finished with a Brown Hand Rubbed Oil finish. The color is a non-toxic stain-like impregnated finish. The Live Baby Cradle measures 13" x 30" inside dimensions and 5" up off of the floor. The wood is Ponderosa White Pine. Each Cradle is handcrafted, and completely non-toxic and washable.
