As our first sushi board design, this board is AWESOME looking! When you’re done using them you’ll still want to display them on a wall or shelf. Made of solid 1 ½ inch tiger maple, this wood combined with our finishing process give off a luminescence or radiance that is second to none. The surface of the board looks three dimensional when it’s actually flat. Ornate feet on these would take away from the natural beauty of the tiger or curly maple so we’ve rested the Sushi Board on sticks of walnut for a bit of contrast. Since the maple is so thick, you're able to get a great view of the growth rings and grain pattern that was formed inside of the tree. Coated with an FDA approved food safe finish this board measures approximately 9 ½”across x 6” deep and stands 2 ½” tall. Due to wood variations, dimensions are approximate. Board will be no smaller than 9" x 6".
